What Promise does Amir break to Sohrab?

Amir broke the promise he made to Sohrab of taking him to America. Sohrab thought that people was going to him when he go to America. Amir said no one will get hurt or harm and said it was safe. Sohrab made him promise to what he said and Amir didn't know how he was going to keep the promise and he broke it.

Who did Amir have to fight in order to get Sohrab? Why?

Amir fought one of the milltary leaders. He did that to the milltary leader because that was what he hade to do to get Sohrab back. Sohrab didn't want to go with Amir at first. After some man jumped on Amir and Shrab grapped the sling shot and hit the man and they was able to get away

What is your reaction to Rahim Khans letter to Amir? Should the letter have been presented to him earlier? Do you feel that Baba was a good man?

I feel the letter Rahim Khan send Amir was the truth but he should have got that letter a long time ago because he was living a lie his whole childhood. Baba should have told Amir and Hassan the truth. Baba wasn't a good because Hassan was a servant and Amir was treated different, but he did try to keep them close.

In chapter 21-22 the cruelty of the Taliban is clearly in evidence. Give 2-3 examples.

Two of the talibs took and man and woman with Kalashnikov slung across their shoulders helped the bur qua-clad woman. Two more talibs joined in and helped the same woman into the whole that was dug for her. the tall talib picked up and showed it to the crowd and the crowed grew silent the talib threw the stone at an blind folded man. He stood as stiff as a baseball pitcher pitching a ball. The talib shook his head as the crowd moaned.

How does Amir feel about his father in these chapters?

Amir feel as that his father didn't want Amir as a son beause Amir is nothing like his father. Amir does not know how to play sports like his father and he do not stand for him self.Unlike his father who stand up for him self and fight back.

The Election is rapidly approaching. What are your feelings about the candidates? What have you heard? How would your life change if Obama won? How would your life change if McCain won?



I think Obama and McCain are great candidates and their going to be someone who go win and someone who is going to lose. I heard that McCain was losing so far in votes. If Obama won my life will change so far as money go cause the gas is going to do down and income tax. If McCain won my life wuold just get more tighter in our pockets.
