Do you believe that the media portrays young black students in a positive light?

I think the media portrays young black students all the time. In my opinion they blow things way out of proportion. For calculation teen the media might say something for 2 seconds. They never stay on that situation for long. For African-Americans we have to live in shame for a couple of months or years. It never really seems to go away. It’s always an extra story with the media. Something they have to make up. They always make it seem like we did something worse than what we really did. I think African-Americans get treated very different through media. We should be treated just as another race but we don’t.

Have I grown since the begin of the school year???

Yes I have grown since the begin of the school. I have grown in basketball and in my school work. I have learned a lot of things that I didn't know when I first started the ninth grade. I learned how to control myself when I feel like going off and not doing anything. I feel as this way is the best way to start your high school career. Being push to the limit in your school work help you in the real world and more. I learned how to go through bad problems and deal with bad situation. I learned how to carry myself very well.

The Most Influential Teacher?

The most influential teacher I have is Ms. Fuller because she push me to the next level and stay on top of the other students. She make sure my grades is on top of the other student and my behavior stay on point. She get me out of trouble if I'm in some trouble. She feed me when I ask for some food she give it to me. She treat me like I'm one of hers. She show me how to deal with real life situations. She have talks with me about things that's going on in my life. Ms. Fuller is the greater teacher ever!!!!
